Some people from the South call this "Muddie Buddies"....but here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we call it Puppy Chow! :-) Delicious no matter what name you give it!
Ingredients:
1 c. peanut butter
1 bag chocolate chips
6 cups Chex cereal (I use rice)
1- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in a double boiler. until fully melted. Take off of the heat and fold in the cereal, doing your best not to crush while mixing. Some people do this part in different ways, but I like to put the powdered sugar in a brown paper grocery bag (the way my mom taught me) and pour the Chex mix in, fold the top of the bag down and secure with both hands, and just shake the living heck out of it until all of the Chex mix is coated (don't shake too hard or you will break the cereal....).
