One of my favorite things to use that has very low point value when you are on Weight Watchers and always helps to make the perfect omelet is Egg Beaters. Even if it is the off brand such as Better'n Eggs, or Crystal Farms, sometimes it is much easier to use. Here are four recipes for easy omelets that can be made in under 5 minutes!
** For all of the types of omelets, head a small skillet to medium heat and let warm up for a minute. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Shake the egg in the container, and pour about 1/8 - 1/4 cup depending on how thick you want the eggs. Season with salt and pepper on top. Add the topping ingredients (some examples listed below). Cover with a lid for about 30-45 seconds until the eggs are fully cooked and cheese is melted. Using a spatula, fold over three or four times to resemble and omelet.
Egg Beater's All Whites, topped with fresh thyme, fresh spinach and shredded Mozzarella.
Egg Beaters, with fresh spinach, pizza style Canadian bacon slices, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
Egg Beaters, topped with pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni and shredded Cheddar cheese.
Egg Beaters, topped with fresh dill, hot sauce, shredded Cheddar cheese and a slice of Mesquite deli turkey.
(All recipes shown above are 4-5 WW points, give or take. All will depend on the style of toppings, how much cheese, and how much Egg Beaters you use in creating them (-: )
