Easy Sweet Hawaiian Sticky Buns

Ingredients:

1 pkg. (12) King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, cut in half
2/3 c. softened margarine
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbs. cinnamon

Glaze:

1/2 orange, juiced
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Spread 1 Tbs. of the butter on the bottom of an 8x8 square baking pan. Spread about 1/2-3/4 Tbs. of butter on the bottom half buns on the cut side.  Place on the bottom of the pan. Take the top half of the buns and spread the remaining butter mixture on top. Bake for 12-13 minutes.

For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and orange juice in a small bowl. When the buns are removed from the oven, let cool for 10 minutes and then drizzle the glaze on top. Let sit another 5-10 minutes so that the glaze solidifies slightly.

Tried these tonight to use some leftover rolls. It was really good. I'll definitely make these again.

She said "margarine" yuck
Then said "butter"
Of course I would not use margarine
But she's gonna get ,900 people that do not know

Do you slice the rolls in half like when you make the sliders? You didn’t say but you talk about the “cut” side.

It says on the recipe cut rolls in half

Unknown, she's asking vertical or horizontal. Part Time Cook, yes,it looks to be cut horizontal like for sliders.

Some sweetened cream cheese might be good in the middle, too. I might try the whipped honey pecan. Broelth

That was my question. Horizontal or Vertical. It's obvious to cut in half, might be helpful in the Instructions to clarify which direction. ** You say Horizontal. ?? I will try that. It will be delicious what's the direction. **
