Creamy White Cheese Pasta Sauce

Ingredients:
1 Tbs. olive oil
2 small yellow onions, finely chopped
salt and pepper
1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
3/4 c. 1% Milk
4 oz. lowfat cream cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and salt and pepper. Let cook for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute. Whisk in the milk and when it starts to simmer, whisk in the cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. It will only take 1-2 minutes for the sauce to thicken. If the sauce is too thick, you can add milk to your liking.
