Chocolate Oreo Cupcake Push Pop
Chocolate Cake:
1 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbs. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a push pop baking pan with non stick cooking spray and set aside. Sift the first five ingredients into a bowl together. Beat the butter and brown sugar in an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and vanilla. Alternate flour, buttermilk, and then flour into the mixer on low speed until the batter is well combined. Spoon 1 Tbs. or less of the batter into each hole. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cool in the pan for three minutes, and then transfer to a wire sheet to cool fully. Pipe Oreo cream frosting on top.
Oreo Cream Frosting:
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
pinch of salt
1/3 c. whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. crushed Oreo cookie
Beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy, add the salt, whipping cream and vanilla and beat until everything is well incorporated. Fold in the Oreo cookie pieces.
