Restaurant Style Salsa

This is my favorite kind of salsa (other than some homemade fresh Pico). I like more of a smooth consistency rather than big chunks of tomato and onion that you typically get with salsa from a jar. Not only is it good with chips, but also goes great on tacos or topping off homemade nachos.

Ingredients:

14 oz. can Hunt's Diced Tomatoes
10 oz. can Rotel, original
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 jalapeno, seeded and rough chopped
1 1/2 tsp. honey
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 c. cilantro
1 lime, juiced

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor until all of the large chunks are out. Test for seasoning and spice level to either add more salt or a touch of honey if it is overly spicy for you.
