Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients:
1 stick butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 box Strawberry cake mix


Combine ingredients together until well blended. (I added black food dye to make the cookies a dark grey color for the 21st party that they were made for.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form into logs (will be very sticky), roll in saran wrap and freeze for about an hour or until mostly firm. Cut into slices and bake about 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches apart on a non stick cookie sheet. (I rolled each cookie edge after cutting in slices, into pink sprinkles. I wouldn't recommend rolling the logs before cutting, because they get slightly mushed into the log and you can't see them very well.) Bake for about 8-10 minutes. Let cool for about a minute and then transfer to a wire rack.
