Vanilla Bean Buttercream Frosting


2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
5 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 vanilla bean, seeds and insides scraped out
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix the butter on medium high speed for two minutes in an electric mixer. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until the frosting is fluffy in texture and everything is well incorporated. Add or milk if it's too thick, and more powdered sugar if it's too thin. Make sure you scrape the bowl down if the butter sticks to the sides of the mixing bowl.
