Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars

There are many recipes out there for chocolate chip cookie dough that you just add peanut butter to, to make them peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Don't do it! Trust me this recipe is the best recipe ever for peanut butter and chocolate cookie bars! The center stays moist, and the outside is soft. You need to try this recipe!

Ingredients:

1/3 c. margarine, softened
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8x8 pan with foil, and spray with non stick cooking spray. Set aside. In an electric mixer, combine the butter, peanut butter and sugar on medium speed until mixed well. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Add the rest of the dry ingredients in and when everything is incorporated together, add the chocolate chips on low speed just to mix into the batter. Spread out in the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool slightly before cutting.
