Cat Litter Cake

Ingredients:
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
2 (3.5 oz.) pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
1 pkg. vanilla oreos (or other cream filled vanilla cookies)
green food coloring
1 pkg tootsie rolls

Cook the white cake and German chocolate cake according the the package directions. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package directions and place in the refrigerator to chill. Place the vanilla cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are small enough to resemble crystals in cat litter. Reserve 1/4 c. of the cookie crumbs, and add about 4-6 dots of green food coloring (the color will resemble more of an aqua, blue-green tint). Crumble the cakes with your hands into a large bowl. Toss with the chilled pudding and the remaining cookie crumbs. (You don't have to use all of the pudding, you don't want it to be over mushy so gradually add until your desired amount.) Line a brand new litter box with plastic wrap and pour the cake mixture in. Spread to the sides, but make sure it doesn't look even (after all, cats are never THAT tidy). Unwrap about 20 tootsie rolls and place in a microwave safe dish. Heat until just softened. Shape and roll them with your hands until they resemble cat poop. Bury about 10-12 inside the cake. Sprinkle half of the green colored cookie crumbs on top of the cake. Add the remaining shaped tootsie rolls on top of the cake, and sprinkle with the rest of the green cookie crumbs. Serve the cake with a brand new pooper scooper!
