Philly Steak Flatbread
Ingredients:
1 c. leftover steak, sliced thin
1/2 green pepper, sliced thin
1/4 onion, sliced thin
2 slices Mozzarella cheese, deli style
1 tsp. garlic salt
1-2 Tbs. low-sodium beef broth
1 Flatout flatbread, or a tortilla shell
In a medium size skillet, combine the onions and peppers together. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes until the onions become slightly translucent. Add the beef, beef broth and garlic salt. Continue to cook for another 2-4 minutes, until the beef is tender again.
Set the oven to broil. Place your bread on top of a non stick baking sheet. Spread the steak mixture in an even layer on top of the bread. Lay the cheese slices on top. Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is fully melted, and fold in half, or place another flatbread on top. Slice and serve.
