Slow Cooker Chicken Verde

This is literally one of the most simple slow cooker dishes that I have ever made. It is only two ingredients.

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (extra fat trimmed off)
1 1/2 c. Pace Garlic and Lime Verde

Pour half cup of the Verde in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place the chicken on top. Pour the rest of the Verde on top of the chicken. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours. Turn down to low and cook for another 1- 1/2 hours. Pull out and shred the chicken breasts with two forks. Return to the slow cooker and mix with the liquid.

This recipe is great when used in tacos. I added the shredded Verde chicken on top of a southern slaw mix, nestled inside corn tortillas. Yum!

(Makes 4 servings, 2 WW points per serving.)
